In relation to business, arguably no subject has been written about as much as sales and marketing. As you may already be experiencing, having the best product or service doesn’t guarantee success if you can’t market it and ultimately sell it. Some people think that sales and marketing are the same thing and use the terms as if they are interchangeable. They are in fact quite separate.
Marketing is about identifying what your product or service is, what price it will be offered at, where it will be promoted to and how it will be promoted. In short it’s about making your target audience aware of your product.
Selling is the process of how it will be sold to that target audience.
In our e-book “How to develop a marketing plan”, we step you through a detailed process covering the areas that should be addressed in any well thought out plan.
Some of these include how to identify what your market is, how to analyse your market, how to perform a strategic S.W.O.T analysis on your business, how to identify and develop an SCA (Sustainable Competitive Advantage), understanding the 8 P’s of marketing (product, positioning, price, place and promotion) to name a few.
Our e-book “How to sell effectively” provides you with some valuable information on traditional solution-based selling and the latest trend of insite selling.
We show you how to create value for, and how to build the relationship with, your customers and include a great section on techniques for overcoming objections during the sales process. A great reference source even if you’re an experienced salesperson.
