FAQs

Can I reproduce SBRS content on my own site/newsletter?

We’re happy to support this wherever possible, please get in touch (via email: admin@sbrs.com.au) and let us know what you would like to use and where. Assuming permission is given, we may ask you to follow some basic guidelines.

Can I advertise/promote on SBRS?

We are currently looking at introducing this onto our site. Please register your interest (via email: sales@sbrs.com.au) and we will be in touch to discuss some options we are currently looking to pursue.

Are you interested in affiliate arrangements, contra deals, joint ventures or giveaways for your members?

These types of relationships are not necessarily a priority for us at the moment, nevertheless we are always open to a good idea. We suggest you contact us (via email: sales@sbrs.com.au) with a brief outline of your idea and we will be in touch.

Do I qualify for a tax deduction if I subscribe?

If you are carrying on a business, you should not have a problem claiming the cost as an allowable deduction for the general business information provided in our newsletters and e-books. If in doubt talk to your accountant.

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?

Just click on the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the foot of each newsletter.

I’m having login problems. What can I do?

Please try emptying your cache to clear cookies and give it one more go. If that doesn’t work (and you haven’t thrown anything at your computer) get in touch here and we’ll get one of our tech peeps to fix you up just as quickly as possible.

Can I become a member if I am not based in Australia?

Of course you can. You just need to be aware that the content, whilst principally generic in nature, may have some references to Australian legal or business practices. Subscriptions will be charged to your account in Australian dollars.

I have subscribed to your newsletter but haven’t been receiving them. Why?

That’s no good! The first step is to check your Junk folder. Next, try adding newsletter@sbrs.com.au to your Safe Sender list (or White List). This will ensure that future messages from us and/or the newsletter will get through to you.

Failing this, it may be worth unsubscribing and resubscribing with a different email address.

I’ve updated my email address within membership but newsletters are going to the old address.

Sorry about that, the website and newsletter actually run on two separate systems so you’ll need to update your details in both spots. Click ‘update subscription preferences’ at the foot of each newsletter or contact us and we can do this for you.

Do you only accept payment via PayPal or Visa/MasterCard?

While these payment systems cover most eventualities, we can issue an invoice for an annual subscription if you prefer to pay by EFT. Simply email us at admin@sbrs.com.au and we’ll sort it out for you.

How do I change the account my membership costs are debited from? Or update my credit card details?

If you paid via PayPal and would like to update your credit card details, you will need to do this via PayPal. If you log in to your PayPal account, you will find the options you need under ‘Bank accounts & cards’.

Can you issue me a tax invoice?

Tax invoices from SBRS are issued automatically on successful payment.

My payment provider has sent me a ‘payment failed’ message. Why?

Typically, this gets sent out if the credit or debit card you have attached to your account at PayPal has expired. This will require updating directly with PayPal.
